This past Tuesday, a jury awarded a $ 1 million Montgomery mesothelioma settlement to the widow of a power plant workers who died as a result of mesothelioma caused by exposure to asbestos. However, most responsible for the death of the worker, mesothelioma has been attributed to Gulf Power, which was not party to the unjust death trial.
Woodrow McBride and his wife, Betty, has filed the Montgomery mesothelioma lawsuit on 10 August 2006, a month before Woodrow died at age 67 on September 20, 2006.
Defendants named in the case of several companies associated with the work he has done to power plants in Montgomery Alabama, between 1968 and 1996. Meanwhile, it has been exposed to asbestos in the insulation of boilers he worked on.
I have a lot of former US Navy people in my family history. The Navy put asbestos on pipes in the engine room that were hot as well as the boilers themselves. What a tragic mistake. There have probably been thousands of mesothelioma cases resulting in death for former us Navy guys who worked in those engine rooms.
