All in all it seems that lawyers across the nation should be thankful to Anna Nicole Smith for keeping them in court cases for years to come, whether they happen to be New Jersey injury lawyers or Orlando wills attorneys.
“The Killing of Anna Nicole Smith“, released by Transit Publishing, hit bookstores last week. The provocatively titled book was written by Florida Judge Larry Seidlin who presided in the 2007 case featured here that decided where Smith’s remains would be buried. In the book Seidlin takes issue with celebrity prescription drug use and the culture of “enablers” that allow such abuse to occur. He feels that Smith, much like Michael Jackson and Heath Ledger, was”murdered” by hangers-on such as doctors who stood to profit from her addictions.

It is very imperative to understand why it is essential that a person’s estate have to go through probate in Florida. It seems like it should be a lot more simple than it is. Once you have an understanding of probate, everything will become much more clear.
Our laws that are made by the legislature in the state of Florida about estates and inheritance are set forth in what probate attorneys refer to as the Florida Probate Code. It has resulted from many generations of people who have gone prior to us. These statutes are the product of experience and commonly accepted social behavior.
