Yesterday, I woke up at 6:30 turned off my alarm on my cell and started checking my emails. Checked a message from facebook from one of my closest acquaintances on facebook entitled I DON’T WANT YOU TO DIE. I read the whole thing….you may have received it yourself. Its all about the fatally toxic spider that killed five women in Florida. This Two Striped Telamonia Spider (Telamonia dimidiata), a reddish deadly spider that is known for living in toilets and biting butts.

I dream a lot of ludicrous things, but I don’t even think I am capable of imagining this up. I checked my facebook later, but no… I had indeed read this article earlier that morning.

Three women in North Florida turned up at hospitals over a 5-day period, all with the same symptoms. Fever, chills, and vomiting, followed by muscular! collapse, paralysis and finally, death.. There were no outward signs of trauma. Autopsy results showed toxicity in the blood. These women did not know each other and seemed to have nothing in common. It was discovered, however, that they had all visited the same Restaurant (Olive Garden) within days of their deaths. The Health Department descended on the restaurant , shutting it down. The food, water, and air conditioning were all inspected and tested, to no avail. The big break came when a waitress at the restaurant was rushed to the hospital with similar symptoms. She told doctors that she had been on vacation, and had only went to the restaurant to pick up her check. She did not eat or drink while she was there, but had used the restroom. That is when one toxicologist, remembering an article he had read, drove out to the restaurant, went into the restroom and lifted the toilet seat . Under the seat, out of normal view, was a small spider. The spider was captured and brought back to the lab, where it was determined to be the Two Striped Telamonia Spider (Telamonia dimidiata), so named because of its reddened flesh color. This spider’s venom is extremely toxic, but can take several days to take effect. They live in cold! , dark, damp climates, and toilet rims provide just the right atmosphere.

The story goes onto state that the same spider was found on five different toilets soaring through the sky on flights coming in from Indonesia. I had really had enough by the time i got to…

So please, before you use a public toilet, lift the seat to check for spiders. It can save your life!

So I did a little research and this Two Striped Telamonia Spider story is a complete hoax. This epitome of fabricating the truth has been circulating since 1999. The Two Striped Telamonia Spider exists but the story is complete nonsense.

The wrongful death lawsuits that should have been circulating against the Olive Garden, I realized would have been all over the news had this been the case.  Las Vegas personal injury attorneys, suggest that a class action lawsuit may have even be filed for the mass wrongful deaths.

Poor Deeeetrrrooiiittttt. The Detroit Lion’s 2008 season finished 0-1was followed by their pathetic performance winning only two games in 2009. The hopeless NFL team is tied with other local embarrassments.  Michigan’s own GM needed almost $13.5 B emergency loan from the feds to avoid  Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing which would not have been advised by local Ann Arbor bankruptcy attorneys.  And then there is the Greektown Casino which shed any hope of an economic turnaround for Michigan.  The filed for bankruptcy protection in May, where they were down over 16% from the year prior.m poor Detroit. they  game than any other team in the entire NFL franchise.

The Lion’s have managed to spark more hype in ONE PREseason than any other of the 11 ACTUAL seasons of the entire NFL franchise. But the buzz is a direct result of their rock bottom performance in 2008 and their let down during their expected 2009 turnaround.  But poor Detroit has other problems.

Like the Lions, and their first draft picks for this season, Michigan is in the process of rebuilding.  Whether Michigan  is able to reboot and get back on two feet and get people employed will stand in the hands of the present administration as well as the the success of their top industries including their NFL franchise.  The Lions are like any business and could be launched into involuntary bankruptcy if they can’t stay afloat.  Although rare, local bankruptcy lawyer in Ann Arbor, states that these proceedings can be launched against a business if debts are not paid.  Things are looking up though, their preseason scores reflect a good start.  However lets not romanticize the stats. Their wins against the Browns and the Bills are not necessarily prime examples of tough wins.  Michigan keep your fingers crossed.
