Hall of fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor has been detained by police officials in the Ramapo Valley, NY on charges of rape from a 15 year old runaway.  According to the football legend’s lawyers, Taylor has yet to be formerly charged with a crime, although heavy investigations will be conducted this week regarding the reported rape.

While watching a court room video clip from one South Carolina criminal lawyer, I could not help draw a parallel between him and a scene from My Cousin Vinny; a classic court room comedy starring Joe Pesci.  The prosecuting attorney is the character in the movie that prompted me to make the connection, however I couldn’t help but be reminded of the priceless scene

After a routine traffic stop, one police officer discovered he’d be dealing with a lot more than a mere speeding ticket.
